Biography

Bayne's career started in 1996 with Showtime's Poltergeist: The Legacy; she appeared in two episodes of the TV series.[1] She next appeared in A Stranger in the Kingdom with Ernie Hudson and made 1998 guest appearances on the TV shows Law & Order and Silk Stalkings.[1] Bayne starred in the 2000 independent film Under Hellgate Bridge with Dominic Chianese and Vincent Pastore.[1] Although director Michael Sergio described Jordan as "a brilliant little actress",[2] she got the part only after better-known actor Ashley Judd turned down the role.[3] Her subsequent film roles included Mercy of the Sea with Martin Sheen in 2003.[1]

Bayne's debut as a writer/director came with the 2007 short Argo, starring Jordana Spiro. Argo played the festival circuit screening at the Napa/Sonoma Film Festival, NewFilmMakers, Soho House and Sedona Film Festival among others.[4]

Bayne is currently in post-production on her next short film, The Sea Is All I Know, with Melissa Leo.
